By purchasing or using BuddyVox, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, don’t use the software.
License Grant
Upon purchase, BuddyIT grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use BuddyVox on a single computer.
What You Can Do
- Use BuddyVox for personal or commercial purposes
- Create unlimited transcriptions
- Store and distribute your transcription output
- Install BuddyVox on one (1) computer per license
What You Cannot Do
- Share your license key with others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
- Remove or alter copyright notices
- Use BuddyVox for illegal purposes
- Resell or sublicense the software
Payment and Refunds
Payment
Prices are in USD. Payment is processed securely through our payment partners (Stripe/Paddle).
Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.
Software Updates
Your license includes free updates within the major version you purchased:
- Personal License: Free updates for v1.x
- Professional License: Free updates for v1.x and v2.x
Major version upgrades (e.g., v2.0) may require an additional purchase at a discounted upgrade price.
Intellectual Property
BuddyVox and all related materials are owned by BuddyIT. Your license grants usage rights only — not ownership.
Whisper AI model weights are provided under their respective open-source licenses.
Disclaimer of Warranties
BuddyVox is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Transcription accuracy for all use cases
- Compatibility with all hardware configurations
Limitation of Liability
BuddyIT’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software. We’re not liable for:
- Lost profits or data
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Third-party claims
Termination
Your license continues indefinitely unless you violate these terms. We may terminate your license if you:
- Share or redistribute your license key
- Use the software for illegal purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer the software
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes will be resolved in Polish courts.
